We note to our students that, based on new decisions taken by universities in Romania, the minimum registration requirements for the 2018-2019 academic year in medicine, to study in English, will be possible only for those who meet the following conditions:
-The applicant has a high School certificate.
-the average degree of graduation certificate from the general secondary school should be 85% or more-to be a graduate of a scientific branch.
-The English language student level is equivalent to 450 out of 667 in the TOEFL ITP exam. (Note that the exam mark required for the universities that imposed this exam is at least 543) but the exam mark 450 is to ensure that the student can be helped to enter other universities.
The University of CLUJ has the minimum English language on the TOEFL IBT is a score of 72 out of 120. For TIMISOARA University, the minimum score for the TOEFL exam is 87 out of 120.
It has become clear that the English language entrance exams are required for the majority of universities that do not require a TOEFL certificate, so all students must be ready for a minimum rate of 450 out of 667 in the TOEFL IPT exam.
Constanta University requires an English language exam level B1.
Craiova University requires an English language exam level B2.
Starting with 2019, the University of Bucharest requests an English language exam at 543 out of 667 in TOEFL IPT.
Our Institute has conducted this type of exams throughout the year.
Our Institute performs a special TOEFL exam course.
We apologize to any student who does not achieve these conditions. Instead, we offer to engage in the preparatory year for the study of Medicine in the Romanian language.
